Welcome to my small piece of internet land.
I’m Tom, a software engineer based in Australia. At the moment, I’m working on a thesis at the University of Queensland. My research is focused on understanding how neural network compression affects a model’s learned representations and internal decision boundaries.
During the semester, I spend most of my time on my thesis and my hobby project, CarValue. Outside of University, I work on high-frequency trading systems.
My main interests are distributed systems, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure management.
This blog is a place for notes, experiments, and the occasional technical detour.
Thanks for visiting.
